Get a head start in your career. This is your chance to be paid up to $20,000 per year, each year until the completion of your degree. This will be paid over multiple payments during each university year to help you manage your cashflow.
Academic results are not the only thing we value. We’re also looking for well-rounded individuals who:
- Have a strong customer focus
- Demonstrate good communication skills
- Are active team members, and
- Display excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
Paid vacation work placements
As part of the scholarship, you’ll have the opportunity to build your skills with the chance to gain invaluable paid work experience through university vacation placements on our projects.
During these vacation work placements you will be paid as an employee. This is in addition to the annual scholarship payment.
Our vacation workforce typically includes a cohort of students studying electrical, electronic, power and mechatronics engineering, with some placements for mechanical, civil and structural engineering students. This is a great way to meet other likeminded students.
Locations
Vacation work could take place at various locations across Queensland including:
- Cairns
- Townsville
- Rockhampton
- Toowoomba and
- Brisbane.
Timeframes
The duration of vacation work varies, but typically will be around 12 weeks from November through to February, depending on your university break, your commitments and our requirements.
