Karen Lay-Brew joined the Board in 2021. She is Chair of Yurika, Yurika Metering Dynamics and Ergon Energy Telecommunications Subsidiary Boards and a member of the Regulatory & Investment Committee and People, Safety & Environment Committee.
Karen brings extensive international experience in Chief Information Officer and Chief Productivity Officer roles in multinational corporations including BHP, Microsoft and Honeywell Asia Pacific with responsibility for implementing systems and technologies, culture change and operational excellence.
Karen has served on a number of high-level Australian Government Boards and was previously a Founding Director and President of Australian Business Software Industry Association, renamed DSPANZ. She is the Strategic Advisor to the Australian Government on Digitalisation of Businesses with focus on the electronic invoicing as a fundamental component in the future of Australia’s economy.
She is the Managing Director of 3Pillars. Digital, which supports organisations to apply contemporary and digital technologies to deliver sustained business outcomes. The 3Pillars group provides management consulting services to numerous industries including mining, utilities, defence and public sector.
