Our Board of Directors

As a Government Owned Corporation, Energy Queensland is overseen by a highly experienced, independent Board of Directors responsible for guiding the organisation’s long‑term success and reporting to the Queensland Government through our Shareholding Ministers - the Treasurer, Minister for Energy and Minister for Home Ownership, and the Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training.

The Board operates in line with Our Constitution (PDF 4.7 mb) and Board Charter (PDF 203.3 kb), which establishes clear governance foundations and defines the Board’s role in providing strategic direction, oversight and accountability.

Through strong corporate governance structures and sound decision‑making practices, the Board supports our Executive Leadership Team to deliver our strategic objectives and achieve our purpose to energise Queensland communities.
