Leisa Rafter joined the Board in late 2024 and is the Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee.
She has more than 20 years’ professional services experience advising businesses, boards, executives and government owned corporations on complex taxation and risk matters. She also serves as a Director on the Board of BDO Australia Limited.
Leisa brings extensive experience in governance and risk management, including engagement with federal and state regulators and supporting organisations in the design and implementation of governance frameworks and controls.
In addition, Leisa is a Solicitor, a Registered Tax Agent, a Chartered Tax Adviser (Fellow of The Tax Institute), a Member of the Queensland Law Society and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Leisa is recognised for her technical and practical expertise, commercial acumen and strategic approach to governance and risk management. Her experience spans property, energy, infrastructure, government, agribusiness and mining sectors. She has a keen interest in sustainability and climate related risks.
