New Chair appointed to Energy Queensland

Energy Queensland is pleased to welcome Patrick Brady to the organisation, bringing with him a distinguished career in civil engineering and a deep commitment to public service and regional development.
Patrick has led major projects across urban development, infrastructure, agriculture and mining, and is the Founder and Chair of Premise—one of Queensland’s most respected engineering firms, known for its innovative and sustainable solutions. His leadership has helped shape communities across the state and beyond.
In addition to his engineering achievements, Patrick serves as Chair of the Board at Mater Misericordiae, which operates Queensland’s largest not-for-profit network of public and private hospitals. He also contributes to national healthcare policy and governance as a Non-Executive Director of Catholic Health Australia. His previous board roles include Mater Health Services North Queensland and the Port of Townsville.
Patrick’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Energy Queensland as we continue to lead the state’s energy transition. His extensive governance experience, strategic insight, and passion for sustainable development align strongly with our mission to deliver safe, affordable, and reliable energy for all Queenslanders. We are confident that his leadership will help guide our organisation through the opportunities and challenges ahead.
